40t and 30t carbon with a B-Axis carbon tape allows all CTX rods to be light but very strong. This material provides very crisp actions that make accurate casting easy, the power build up is very subtle when playing a fish so you never feel you've lost control.
The character of this carbon makes it possible to keep the handle lengths shorter than is conventional but still produce a rod that is extremely light and well balanced. The rods are supplied with 3 push in quiver tips, 2 carbon and one glass that are a little shorter at 540mm in length. This makes for a lower diameter of both the quiver tip and the top section joint where the quiver is pushed into meaning better overall rod balance and critically no flats spots or 'elbow' where the solid quiver tip section joins the hollow top section.
Available in lengths of 9ft 10ft and 11ft with the heavier 'B.W.' (Big Water) being more powerful for use of larger waters where longer casting is required or when you expect to encounter bigger carp.
These models feature longer handles for better casting leverage.
For use with 4lb to 10lb lines.
